A short note on what this site collects, and what it doesn’t.

This site uses PostHog for basic, anonymized analytics so I can see which case studies people read and where traffic comes from. It’s configured to collect as little as possible.

What is collected:

  • Pages viewed
  • Approximate referrer (the previous site or app a visit came from)
  • Browser and operating system (broad categories like “Chrome on macOS”)
  • Outbound link clicks, and which page they happened on
  • Whether the password gate was submitted, succeeded, or failed (no passwords are stored)

What is not collected:

  • Names, email addresses, or any other personal identifiers
  • IP addresses (these are discarded at the PostHog level)
  • Cookies. This site stores nothing in your browser between sessions for analytics purposes
  • Session recordings or heatmaps

The password gate on protected case studies uses a single HTTP-only session cookie that holds an anonymous token, not your password. It expires after 30 days. That cookie is separate from analytics and exists only to keep you signed in.

If you’d like to know what’s been recorded about your visits, or you’d like it deleted, email me at hello@saribrooke.com and I’ll handle it.
